CHECK OUT WHAT'S GOING ON THIS MONTH

We'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped in our move to the new building. We hope that you all enjoy the new space as much as we do. OCI is continually growing and changing with the times, so definitely be on the lookout for new and better things from us. 

Coming up this month, we have lots of fun things planned.

 

First, our May Challenge: As many reps as possible in two minutes of: 

Week 1: Double Unders / Singles

Week 2: Box Jumps or Step-Ups

Week 3: Overhead Squats

Week 4: Burpees

 

This months challenge takes us back to doing actual work! It's four mini-wods, one per week. You can do these before or after your normal wod, but these will not take place in the daily wod. We will post your scores on Facebook as they come in, and overall male & female winner at the end of the month (most total reps) will receive an OCI shirt of their choice. Make sure to keep track of your score so that Nashan can keep the scoreboard updated! 

Next, starting Tuesday, May 8th we have a Bootcamp Nutrition Challenge hosted by Nashan and Rafa. This is a 6 week course to help you attain your fitness goals. The winner at the end of the 6 weeks will receive a 1 year free membership to OCI. Spots are limited, so if you haven't already signed up, now is the time to do so!

If you are competing in the Bacon Beatdown, Coach Rafa has started hosting prep classes every Thursday at 6:30pm. 

And last, but certainly not least, is our favorite workout of the year: MEMORIAL DAY MURPH. In honor of those who have served, are serving, and those who have lost their lives, please be sure to join us on Monday, May 28 at 9am to do the workout and enjoy a cookout afterward. It is easily one of our biggest events of the year and you won't want to miss it!

ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

DAMIEN

Each month we feature an OCI Athlete of the Month. This athlete shows exemplary characteristics of a role model and athlete. Dedication, attendance, gains, engagement in class, and overall awesomeness is considered when deciding on the AOTM. This month is no different with our Athlete of the Month, Damien. You can find him dominating workouts and pushing others at our 6am classes. Congratulations Damien, you deserve it!
